Dr Jason Youssef

Jason was drawn to Osteopathy at a young age having played local Australian Rules Football in the Eastern football league. He had his fair share of injuries and his trainer at the time was an Osteopath, hence his pathway to Osteopathy. Jason graduated from Victoria University with a Masters degree in Osteopathy, his hope is to pass on his knowledge in the field to others that were once in his position.

He is an avid sports fanatic and loves AFL, soccer, NBA and mostly golf. Jason started playing golf socially at a young age at his home away from home in Torquay, before turning to local footy for Vermont Football club. Jason enjoyed a successful period playing football and unfortunately hung up the boots recently to return to golf and is currently a member at Settler’s Run Golf and Country Club in Botanic Ridge.

Jason’s love of golf has encouraged him in his profession and continued professional development in the field of golf biomechanics and his desire to pass on his knowledge to his patients and hopefully help at reducing those handicap figures! Jason also has a passion for acute injury management, neck and lower back pain, rehab and ergonomics assisting patients with sedentary jobs. Jason is also qualified to use dry needling and cupping to assist with treatment. Jason is a firm believer of a structural approach to Osteopathy and tailors his treatments to suit the individual.

In his spare time clearly, you will find Jason on the golf course trying to perfect his game. Besides this he loves the North Melbourne Football Club and enjoys getting to as many games as he can. He also enjoys spending quality time with his wife going on long drives taking in the best sightseeing spots in Victoria as well as fishing around the Port Phillip Bay area. Jason thinks he is quite funny, always has a smile on his face and strives to leave a lasting impression on his patients while providing the care they need.
