Claire Barker-Hemings

Claire has been involved in teaching fitness for over 20 years, specialising in recent years in aquatic training and Pilates instruction. She first started teaching Pilates in the UK, and after moving to Australia, continued her training and professional development.

Here she has trained with several peak Pilates bodies, including Positive Action Pilates, Polestar Pilates and Fletcher Pilates, and has gained her Diploma of Professional Pilates Instruction.

Claire has a strong personal belief in continuous education, regularly attending fitness conferences and workshops, and incorporates her learnings into her classes for the benefit of her clients. 

Kelly Dovey

Kelly Dovey

Kelly is a clinical Pilates instructor and allied health assistant, with a background in personal training and exercise therapy. She began her training in 2007, working alongside a Paralympic physiotherapist, and eventually completed a Certificate III & IV in Fitness and Personal Training, and a Diploma of Professional Clinical Pilates Instruction. She has also completed training in chronic pain management and life coaching.

With her extensive background in fitness and high impact sports, Kelly is well versed in effectively promoting core stability and postural correction. She is passionate about increasing the mobility, mechanical function and wellbeing of her clients, and uses Pilates to help them achieve and sustain these goals. 

Vanessa Hill

Vanessa Hill

Vanessa started her career as a professional dancer and has since been teaching dancing and fitness for over 20 years. With her qualification in Pilates, Vanessa has worked extensively with professional dancers to teach them how to safely develop their alignment, strength and flexibility, with a focus on injury prevention.  

Vanessa loves seeing the benefits of Pilates practice and movement with people of all ages, and enjoys developing individual programs that will keep them challenged, moving and having fun.
