Emma Medland

Emma completed her Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2021 and recently completed her Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy in 2022 at RMIT University. During her studies, Emma developed a deep desire and eagerness to advance the quality of life of clients through alleviating pain and restoring function to their musculoskeletal condition. She loves learning and continues to develop her expertise, practice, and proficiency within the Myotherapy field to better assist people with their pain management. She applies various techniques in her treatments, including dry needling and cupping, to effect a positive change for her clients.

 

Emma has a passion for working with athletes and sporting teams in management, rehabilitation, and recovery. She studied a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science at Deakin University, while herself, participating in both elite and local sport. She currently provides massage to several professional teams in the A-League, BBL, and NBL. She is committed to acquiring a high level of experience and professionalism within the sporting and clinical setting.  

 Having grown up in Bentleigh, she is excited to provide a high-quality health service to those in her local community. Her hardworking and caring nature, together with her ability to work well in a team, makes working at Seaview Health Group an invaluable opportunity to deliver treatments and empower clients in a holistic and collaborative manner.

 In her spare time, she enjoys being with her family and friends, playing local footy, going for a run, or planning her next camping adventure.
