PHYSIOTHERAPY

Physiotherapy is a science based health care profession that views human movement as central to health and well-being.

The main goal of physiotherapy is to manage pain and restore relevant function for the individuals through exercise rehabilitation and adjunct interventions. Adjunct interventions include manual therapy such as massage and dry needling, as well as the use of tape.

At SHG our Physiotherapists are highly trained to assess and diagnose your condition, then plan and administer treatment programs to restore function to the highest possible level. Our Physiotherapists also work in partnership with Doctors, Osteopaths, Podiatrists and other health professionals to ensure the best possible treatment and care.

Using a combination of manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, education, lifestyle advice and soft tissue techniques, our Physiotherapists can prescribe you an exercise program to complete at home or in the gym in order to enhance your recovery.
